Sturgeon School Division students recently competed in a unique Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) challenge that was out of this world!

Humans have just landed on an alien planet and need your help to build a new city. Invent creative solutions that involve Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) to address their challenges and build a thriving city.
Event challenges include:
Sturgeon students from grades 1 to 12 are eligible to participate. The event will take place in the gymnasium at Redwater School. There will be a general Maker Space set up for students to explore throughout the day.
All members of the community are welcome! Media are invited to interview teachers and students and participate in the AM or PM judging panel.
