Located 12 kilometres north of Camilla School on Highway 44, the Morinville Colony School provides instruction to students in Headstart to Grade 9 of the Morinville Hutterite Brethren colony.
Constructed in 1999 as a collaborative project between the Colony and Sturgeon Public Schools, the two-room schoolhouse is a source of considerable pride for the Colony. As a result, there is strong community support for the school.
Together in a supportive environment, the school and the Colony work together to provide education for the community’s children within the Hutterite culture.
