Unlike most families, military families are on the move, with children having to leave schools, activities, and friends behind. Loved ones can be absent long periods of time for deployments, and training. Despite all challenges, military children continue to flourish and succeed. This resilience deserves a moment of recognition!
As a school division with a strong military family presence, we're honored to recognize the resilience and courage of our military children. Join us this month in celebrating their unique experiences and unwavering strength.
Please wear teal on April 12th, as a show of support. Why teal? The colour teal was chosen because it represents all branches of the Canadian Military.
