Welcome to Sturgeon Public Schools!

We are excited to welcome new and returning students to our division. To complete the online registration process, please ensure you have the following documents ready:

  • Proof of age (e.g., birth certificate, passport, or immigration documentation)
  • Court orders (if applicable)

There are two registration processes, depending on when your child will begin attending school.

  • Registering for the Current School Year (2024-2025)? Follow the existing registration process.
  • Registering for the Next School Year (2025-2026, starting September 2025)? Follow the new registration process.

Pre-Kindergarten Qualification

To Register for Pre-K, please visit the Pre-Kindergarten Eligibility page and fill out the intake form. 

Select a Registration Option:

* For Kindergarten - Grade 12 Students Only

New Families Registering for the Current School Year (2024-2025)

(For students starting before June 2025)

New Families Registering for the Next School Year (2025-2026)

(For students starting in September 2025 or later)

New to Sturgeon Public Schools?

If you have never had a child attend Sturgeon Public Schools, you must create a new parent account in SchoolEngage.

  1. Go to SchoolEngage and select Create new account?
  2. Enter your information and create a password (must include at least 8 characters, 1 number, 1 letter, and 1 symbol).
  3. Check your email to verify your account (don't forget to check your spam/junk folder!).
  4. Log in to SchoolEngage and click Add Student in the left menu.
  5. Enter the required details and select Save.
  6. Click Students in the menu and select your child’s name.
  7. Select the green "New+" button to fill out the registration form.
  8. Click Submit once complete!

 

Existing Families Registering a New Student (2025-2026)

(For families who already have children in a Sturgeon Public school and need to register an additional student)

  1. Sign in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal.
  2. Click on SchoolEngage in the left menu.
  3. This will take you to your SchoolEngage dashboard.
  4. Click Add Student and fill in the required information.
  5. Click Save, then go to the Students menu and select your child’s name.
  6. The registration form for the 2025-2026 school year will be available.
  7. Click New+ to start filling out the required form.
  8. Click Submit once complete!

 

Existing Families Reenrolling for the Next School Year (2025-2026)

(For current students who are continuing their education at Sturgeon Public Schools)

Parents of current students do not need to complete a full registration. Instead, they must complete the Student Reenrollment Form online through PowerSchool.

  1. Log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal.
  2. Click SchoolEngage in the left menu.
  3. Select Students and then your child’s name.
  4. Look for the Validation Form on the right hand side of your screen.
  5. Click on the 2025-2026 Reenrollment Form.
  6. Review and update any required information.
  7. Click Submit once complete!

Why is this important? This ensures your child’s information is up-to-date for the upcoming school year and helps us plan class sizes, staffing, and resources.
