We are pleased to share that CUPE Local 4625 members and the Board of Trustees have successfully ratified a new agreement, officially ending the recent strike. With this resolution in place, our valued support staff will return to their worksites on Monday, March 31, following spring break.
This period has been challenging for students, families, teachers, administrators, and staff across the division. The uncertainty and disruption impacted many, and we sincerely appreciate the patience, resilience, and support shown by our school community.
As we move forward, our priority is ensuring a smooth transition for support staff as they reintegrate into schools and offices. Their contributions play a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for all students, and we are excited to have our full team back together.
